Bishop, Dr. W. F. Houston, Jr. was born in Kerrville, Texas. He is the son of (The Late) W. F. Houston Sr. and
Elnoria M. Butler and the step-son of
(The Late) Elijah Butler, and
(The Late) Naomi Harris Houston.
Dr. Houston, Jr. is also the grandson of
(The Late) Rev. C. J. and Allie Houston,
and (The Late) Sam and Nancy Mills, Sr.
Dr. Houston attended Kerrville and Austin Independent Schools in Texas. As a youth and as a young man
Dr. Houston, Jr. was very active in sports starting with pop Warner football for the East Austin Yellow Jackets in Austin, Texas to being active in a variety of sports: football, basketball, baseball and track and field in Jr high, High school and at the Professional level.
Dr. Houston, Jr. attended Webb and Dobie Jr. High,
and A.S. Lanier High school in Austin, Texas graduating from Kerrville's Tivy High School in Kerrville Texas.
Dr. Houston, Jr. joined the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. Due to a recurring knee injury that kept him sidelined, Dr. Houston was eventually placed on the practice squad as return specialist and running back. Dr. Houston, Jr. also played semi-pro football with the Kerr County Eagles. Dr. Houston, Jr. was an avid softball player (notable team Pro Shop in Kerrville, Texas).
Dr. Houston, Jr. entered the Military (Air Force) during peacetime before being Honorably Discharged.
Dr. Houston, Jr. is the co-founder with his wife First Lady Donece "Niecy" Houston of Christian House of Faith CHOF/CHOF Ministry in Cleveland, Ohio.
Though raised in a Christian environment Dr. Houston, Jr. was plagued with a few setbacks, alcohol, drugs, jail and even prison. It was not until Dr. Houston, Jr. made the conscience decision to stop fighting his calling and receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior who is now "The Author and Finisher of his faith. "Dr. Houston, Jr. said: “I was sick and tired of being sick and tired”.
Dr. Houston, Jr. began his spiritual journey in a quest to live morally correct when he went to San Antonio, Texas and entered the Victory Gospel Chapel Spiritual Growth Center, under the directions of a great Man of God
Bishop, Dr. Donnie Banks and his lovely Woman of God wife Prophetess, Sister Jackie Banks.
Being disobedient to the rules and regulation of Victory Gospel Chapel Spiritual growth Center, Dr. Houston, Jr. was immediately discharged from the Victory Gospel Chapel Spiritual program.
Dr., Houston, Jr. was later briefly directed and tutored by (The Late) Rev. Troy McKee former Pastor of Barnett Chapel United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas.
Dr. Houston, Jr. relocated to Waco, Texas where he met Elder, Aaron K. Henson
Waco,Texas chapter of The General Assembly Church of the Living God, P.G.T. (Bishop, C. C. Berry Jr.) the Presiding Bishop). It is here he met and became very close friends with
(The Late) Elder, Ray Lang who also mentored

Dr. Houston, Jr. became an Elder and an associate minister under Elder, Aaron K. Henson co-pastor of the Ewing Street Church of The Living God, P.G.T. in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Houston, Jr. relocated to Corsicana, Texas. There he sat as an associate minister under (The Late) Pastor, Bishop, Robert L. Newsome who was Pastor of Corsicana’s District 3 chapter of The General Assembly Church of the Living God, P.G.T. (Bishop, C. C. Berry Jr.
The Presiding Bishop).
Dr. Houston, Jr. acknowledges that God the Father,
The Anointed "Word" (Jesus Christ), The Holy Spirit and the 6 men and one Woman of God, he attained a wealth of Spiritual wisdom and Biblical knowledge.
After spending several years as an associate minister in Texas, and other pit stops along the way, Dr. Houston, Jr. was invited to travel to the Midwest Sandusky, Ohio. During his brief stay Dr. Houston, Jr. liked the Midwest and vowed to return. Dr. Houston, Jr. did return to the Midwest this time Akron, Ohio. It was in Akron, Ohio where he was encouraged by many pastors and ministers to start a ministry and preach and teach the word of God. It was in Cleveland, Ohio at a church conference he met the love of his life, the apple of his eyes First Lady, Donece “Niecy” (Smith) Houston. Lady "Niecy" was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Garfield Heights, Ohio and attended Cleveland Public Schools.
First Lady, Donece "Niecy" Houston is the daughter of Otis Lee Smith and (The Late) Donelda Smith, and the daughter of (The Late) Howard Brown and (The Late) Dorothy Brown who accepted Lady "Niecy" as their very own daughter at an early age. Lady "Niecy is the granddaughter of (The Late)
Rev. Stirley Leland Sublett and Patsy R. Sublett and the granddaughter of (The Late)
John Ella Evans.
Lady, "Niecy" (what she loves to be called) is a gorgeous soft spoken but strong Woman of God. During Lady Niecy's youth she was very active in many sports. Lady "Niecy" was an outstanding athlete in track and field, basketball, volleyball and even badminton. But it was basketball and track where she dominated while at J.F. Kennedy High school breaking many school records in track. Lady Houston was so fast in the open quarter her grandfather (The late Rev. Stirley Sublett) nick named her "Drama in the Home Stretch" because it was the backstretch of the open quarter where Lady "Niecy" would make her move and walk down her competitors.
Even though she was awesome in sports, it was academics that she loved and excelled making the honor roll all through school and even being nominated and selected once to the "Who's Who High School Publication and selected twice to the Who's Who Among American College Students Publication.
Even though First Lady "Niecy" Houston excelled in academics and sports she elected to enter the military
(Coast Guard). First Lady "Niecy" Houston served during the Desert Storm Campaign. During her tour of duty she received the Commandant's Letter of Commendation for her outstanding act or service (saving the life of another officer). After her tour Lady "Niecy Houston"
was Honorably Discharged.
Even today Lady "Niecy" Houston is very active when it comes to education. Lady "Niecy" has a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems
(University of Wisconsin Parkside) and a
Master’s degree (With Distinctions) in
Network & Communications Management
(DeVry-Keller Graduate School of Management) and
Lady "Niecy" has completed one year pursuing her Doctorates in Business Administration
(specialization in information system Management) at (Walden University).

Lady "Niecy" is also a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Lady "Niecy" has been an inspiration when it comes to
CHOF Ministry and very supportive of Dr. Houston, Jr.
as he continues to spread the gospel.
Dr. Houston, Jr. and First Lady, Donece “Niecy” Houston have 10 children
(3 transitioned) and 6 grandchildren.

Christian House of Faith, CHOF was originated as a church but has since transitioned into a full time internet ministry, utilizing social media to Spread the Good News.
